Practicing and teaching art
I am a practicing artist with a plethora of shows and work. Currently my process involves paper and light. I am also working on watercolour paintings dealing with body issues in women over 40, a series of smaller paintings around the hong kong housing crises and some guardian dragon paintings painted in an embroidery style. I prefer to work with sustainable materials.
As an artist I am influenced by my Hong kong environment, my own ageing process and a need to share and collect stories of my own and others. View exhibition record below.
Art classes are available for individuals, groups, schools or corporate events.
Children and Adults: I teach small classes in my studio next to Prince Edward Station in Kowloon.
Schools: Currently I offer a variety of art based ECA classes in local and international schools in Hong Kong, including Kellet, Harrow and ESF schools. I have also been a visiting artist in HK and overseas, teaching everything from a 1 day experience class to a full term of art instruction.
Corporate events have included resin, paper art, painting, sewing and bookbinding.

Promoting the art of storytelling
As a storyteller, organiser and producer of Hong Kong Stories and the podcast of the same name, I am passionate about promoting the art of storytelling in Hong Kong. I am available to speak to your school or company about storytelling and run workshops teaching storytelling techniques in the education and corporate sectors.
As the director of the Hong Kong Spoken Word Festival, I curate and direct the yearly festival which has its home at the Fringe Club.
If you have been to the races in Hong Kong, there is a good chance you have also heard some of my VO work. I also work with authors to record and produce audiobooks.
I hosted a workshop and presented a show as an invited guest at the 2019 StoryFEST in sydney, Austrilia, presented workshops for FEAST (Federation of Asian Storytellers) and have presented at the FEAST annual conference in South Korea in 2024.
Artist, Storyteller, speaker and educator
A passion for arts and learning are key
As an artist and arts educator, I focus on enabling communitty members to find their potential in their artwork, to explore new mediums and to engage and appreciate the time spent creating.
As a storyteller and speaker, I give talks and classes in schools, and am the producer and organiser of the local group Hong Kong Stories. I am also the host of the podcast for Hong Kong Stories and the director of the Hong Kong Spoken Word Festival.
For 13+ years in Hong Kong I have taught, first as a PNET in a local school, then as a private tutor specialising in working with children who have difficulty learning in a traditional environment. Since 2017 I have been running art based courses in my studio in Prince Edward.
